Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to repair and maintain refrigeration systems within our cold storage facilities. You will monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance on associated equipment, and troubleshoot to determine corrective actions.

Responsibilities include safety testing, record-keeping, and on-call flexibility. The role requires a GED, refrigeration/maintenance experience, and RETA certifications (Electrical 1, Operator 1).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Refrigeration and/or maintenance experience required.
• RETA Certification, Electrical 1, Operator 1 required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and repairs refrigeration systems; monitors performance.
• Performs routine maintenance on warehouse equipment per OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoots equipment and recommends corrective actions.
• Tests and evaluates equipment using instruments like multi-meters.
• Keeps tools and machinery in good condition; uses tools safely as instructed.
• Tests safety equipment to ensure OHSA/operational standards.
• Maintains preventive maintenance records.
• Keeps work area clean and organized (6S).
• Work may include on-call shifts and flexible hours.
• Performs other maintenance duties as required.
