Job summary

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/refrigeration technician to service commercial systems in the Myrtle Beach area. You will repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including compressors, pumps, air handlers, and control devices, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, EPA certification, and the ability to work independently with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single and rack systems; experience with display cases and walk-ins is helpful.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair and service equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and controls safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Test systems, maintain records, and process tickets and work orders.
• Support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases; assist with small construction or startup projects.

Education

High school diploma/GED

EPA certification

Trade school certification (plus)
