Job summary

Walmart in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair our refrigeration systems across the store. You will use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, and digital/power tools to complete tasks and respond to emergencies.

Minimum qualifications include 10 years in commercial refrigeration HVAC, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools, power tools and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
