Job summary

Emmi Roth, a leader in the specialty cheese industry, seeks a Logistics Manager to lead a three-shift refrigerated distribution operation at the Stoughton facility. You will oversee warehouse execution, inventory integrity, cold-chain compliance, and continuous improvement, reporting to the Director of Logistics and partnering with Transportation and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of progressive logistics, warehousing, distribution, transportation, or supply chain experience, preferably in food/temperature-controlled operations.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience across multiple shifts.
• Experience coordinating shipment execution, carrier communication, and service recovery.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, cold-chain handling, audits, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top operational priority and ensure compliance across three shifts.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for supervisors and warehouse staff.
• Oversee staffing, receiving, replenishment, picking, staging, loading, shipping, returns, and material movement.
• Ensure warehouse processes support daily production needs and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, food safety, temperature compliance, and service levels.
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, FEFO rotation, and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement using data, standard work, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure ERP/WMS utilization for visibility, traceability, and decision-making.
