Job summary

Bay West is hiring a Refinery Senior Site Supervisor in Saint Paul, MN. The role leads refinery and industrial service field operations, supervising crews, coordinating equipment, and ensuring safe, on-time project delivery.

You will liaise with clients, contractors, and refinery personnel while promoting safety and accountability. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership with refinery experience, strong people development, and a track record of successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 15 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of refinery, chemical plant, or similar industrial facility experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain.
• Current TWIC card.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification.
• Proficiency with equipment commonly used on industrial service projects (skid steers, vacuum trucks, hydroblasting, etc.).
• Strong understanding of refinery safety practices and permit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and coordinate daily field operations.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and with high quality.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, and logistics with the Project Manager.
• Support maintenance events, outages, and refinery turnarounds.
• Develop and maintain client and contractor relationships and resolve conflicts.
