Job summary

Bay West in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Site Supervisor to lead industrial service teams in a refinery setting, ensuring safe, efficient project execution. You will supervise field personnel, resolve conflicts, and coordinate daily activities while upholding safety and environmental regulations.

Key tasks include chemical neutralization, equipment cleaning, waste management, and active participation in Emergency Response initiatives. Travel and on-call rotations are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is helpful.
• Active 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate helpful.
• Proficient with industrial service equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, hand tools).
• Ability to lead and supervise industrial service crews.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
• Travel availability for Emergency Response team.
• Reliable transportation available 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage industrial service teams and projects at customer sites regularly.
• Resolve conflicts, take ownership of decisions, and utilize resources effectively.
• Establish open communication to align with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform chemical neutralization and cleaning of equipment.
• Conduct daily cleanup of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Handle waste documentation and compliance at customer locations.
• Assist in Emergency Response clean-up and ER equipment handling.
• Participate on the ER team, approximately one week on-call every 5–8 weeks.
• Understand confined space entry procedures and act as Entry Supervisor when needed.
• Serve as Health and Safety Officer on projects.
