Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in medical/healthcare setting.
• 2 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming referrals and verify need for prior authorization.
• Serve as liaison to physicians, clinical staff and office staff; forward referrals to insurance plans via electronic mediums.
• Review referrals for all pertinent elements and route to appropriate staff.
