Responsibilities
  1. Business Development
  2. Establish an effective sales plan including target clients
  3. Use database and recruitment systems effectively to plan business development activity
  4. Source, follow up, and pass on all leads to colleagues promptly
  5. Demonstrate excellent relationship building, sales, and service skills
  6. Represent self and Stott and May professionally in all dealings with existing and potential clients
  7. Meet marketing call and client meeting targets and achieve planned outcomes
  8. Support manager or managing consultant in driving team business development initiatives, where relevant
Job and Client Management
  1. Demonstrate excellent consulting skills by questioning clients to understand needs and presenting appropriate solutions
  2. Provide expert advice and recommendations promptly, demonstrating urgency
  3. Manage client expectations aligned with market conditions and principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion
  4. Present an action plan to clients and obtain exclusive roles where appropriate
  5. Ensure Terms of Business are presented and agreed upon with clients
  6. Negotiate effectively with clients
Candidate Management
  1. Build rapport with candidates on every call
  2. Use database and recruitment systems to source candidates effectively
  3. Utilize a broad range of candidate attraction strategies, including LinkedIn and websites
  4. Assess and validate candidate skills through interviews and references
  5. Manage candidate information accurately and timely in systems
  6. Manage candidate expectations and advise accurately on the market, salaries, and conditions
  7. Proactively market candidates to suitable clients and establish action plans
  8. Represent candidates effectively to clients via various communication methods
  9. Provide timely feedback to candidates
  10. Uphold principles of equal employment opportunity
  11. Represent self and Stott and May professionally in all candidate dealings
  12. Maintain process control and gain leads through qualification
  13. Escalate candidate issues or disputes to management
