Job summary

AMS is seeking a Senior Recruiter (Interview Assessor) to join our aviation-focused recruitment team. You will conduct high-volume interviews, assess candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders on interview panels.

This hybrid role requires a 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM ET schedule, onsite 2–3 days weekly, and a strong emphasis on DEI and compliant HR practices. We offer growth, a global leader environment, ERGs, and a volunteer day.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in candidate interviewing, assessment, and selection in high-volume recruitment.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employment-related hiring standards, and DEI.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and evaluation skills.
• Experience conducting panel interviews, career fairs, or agency recruitment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-volume environment.
• Ability to make objective hiring recommendations while ensuring inclusion.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct high-volume candidate interviews and assessments, applying your expertise to identify top talent.
• Use your interviewing and evaluation skills to assess candidates fairly while delivering a positive and inclusive candidate experience.
• Collaborate with pilots, hiring managers, and other stakeholders as part of interview panels supporting aviation recruitment initiatives.
• Contribute to hiring outcomes by applying HR best practices, legal hiring standards, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) principles throughout the recruitment process.
• Drive continuous improvement in recruitment activities and hiring processes through your assessment expertise and stakeholder feedback.

Skills & Requirements

Must Have

• Demonstrated ability in candidate interviewing, assessment, and selection, particularly within high-volume recruitment environments.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employment-related hiring standards, and DEI principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and candidate evaluation skills.
• Experience conducting panel interviews, career fair interviews, or agency recruitment activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-volume hiring environment.
• Ability to make objective hiring recommendations while ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience.

Nice to Have

• Technical recruitment experience, including hiring for technology-focused roles.
• Experience working in technical or engineering-focused environments.
• Agency recruitment background.
• Experience representing organizations at career fairs and large-scale hiring events.
• Exposure to or knowledge of the aviation industry.
• Retired HR professionals with relevant interviewing experience are encouraged to apply.

Work Arrangement & Availability

• Availability to work 24–28 hours per week.
• Ability to work a fixed schedule of 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
• Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating effectively with onsite and remote stakeholders.

Salary range: $74,600 – $99,400 USD
