Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Senior Recruiter for Nursing & Allied to source, interview, and place contract clinicians. You will educate candidates about travel benefits and guide them through the process to ensure the right match for client needs.

The role requires a mix of relationship-building, strategic outreach, and negotiation with compensation discussions, while maintaining a strong pipeline and meeting performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree plus 2–5 years of work experience, or a high school diploma with 4–7 years in sales or recruiting.
• Experience using technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity.
• Sales or recruiting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily and weekly metrics to grow the clinician network and retain travelers.
• Plan prospecting and marketing strategies using the ATS to contact nurses via phone and email.
• Keep the ATS updated with accurate candidate information and selling points.
• Consult with nurses to understand needs and build trust through recruitment.
• Qualify clinicians' likelihood to book travel assignments based on licensure and fit.
• Discuss compensation to assemble competitive packages and present to Account Managers.
