Responsibilities

• Source physicians and healthcare leaders through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking.
• Conduct outreach, qualification, and screening to assess fit for opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships and provide consultative guidance throughout recruitment and placement.
• Match qualified candidates to client opportunities while balancing interests and needs.
• Present candidate profiles and recommendations to sales and hiring stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to develop competitive placement packages and support offers.
• Use recruiting strategies to increase engagement and placements.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned professionals during assignments.
• Partner with Operations, Housing, Payroll, Benefits, and Quality Services to support candidates.
• Mentor newer recruiters with coaching and best practices.

Job Summary

The Recruitment Manager I, Physician & Leadership is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing physicians and healthcare leaders while building strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This role partners closely with sales and operational teams to identify top talent, match candidates to client opportunities, and drive successful placements that support business growth and client needs.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, consultative, results-oriented, and experienced in healthcare staffing, physician recruitment, or leadership recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and engage physicians and healthcare leaders through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and other recruitment channels.
• Conduct candidate outreach, qualification, and screening activities to assess experience, career goals, availability, and fit for open opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and provide consultative guidance throughout the recruitment and placement process.
• Match qualified candidates to client opportunities while balancing candidate interests, client needs, and business objectives.
• Present candidate profiles, qualifications, and recommendations to sales partners and hiring stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and leadership to develop competitive placement packages and support successful offer negotiations.
• Utilize creative recruiting and marketing strategies to increase candidate engagement and generate placement opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare professionals throughout their assignments, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with internal teams, including Operations, Housing, Payroll, Benefits, and Quality Services, to support candidate needs and issue resolution.
• Mentor and support newer recruiters by providing coaching, feedback, training, and best practice sharing.
• Monitor recruiting activity, pipeline health, and performance metrics to achieve placement and revenue goals.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share market insights, recruiting trends, and subject matter expertise with leadership.

• Healthcare staffing, physician recruitment, executive recruitment, or healthcare talent acquisition experience
• Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
• Experience working in a goal-oriented, performance-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting physicians, advanced practice providers, or healthcare executives
• Previous leadership, management, mentoring, or supervisory experience
• Experience negotiating compensation packages and employment agreements
• Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and physician staffing models
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and recruitment technologies

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
• Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate

$23.25 - $29.00 Hourly

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
