Job summary

City of Baltimore is seeking a Recreation Leader II to coordinate, plan and supervise recreational and cultural programs at a center and/or pool. The role includes assisting the Center Director and some supervisory duties, with evening and weekend hours in various facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate.
• Experience: Three years of experience in leading recreation activities.
• Equivalency Notes: Six months of additional experience may substitute for each year of high school; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for the experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Recreation Center Director in coordinating, planning and supervising recreational and cultural programs.
• Work includes some supervisory duties and evening/weekend hours; located in recreation centers, athletic fields and similar facilities.
