Job summary

A Recreation Leader II assists the Recreation Center Director in coordinating, planning, administrating, supervising and conducting recreational and cultural programs at a recreation center and/or pool. Work includes some supervisory duties and may require evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED certificate.
• Three years of experience in leading recreation activities.
• Six months of additional experience may substitute for each year of the high school requirement; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for the experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating, planning, administrating and supervising recreational and cultural programs; perform supervisory duties as needed.
