Job summary

Peraton in Jessup, MD is seeking a Records Management Systems Administrator (SA) to join our Cyber Mission business unit on a major Intelligence Community contract. This full-time position requires 1880 hours of support per year and work at a customer site.

You will provide system administration solutions, create bills of materials and network designs, and collaborate with network, storage, and server personnel to implement new or updated installations, while planning capacity and power

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5 years SA experience, or 10 years total.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I+ compliance required.
• At least 1 year experience in modern OS and network architectures.
• At least 1 year experience in certification/ accreditation, architecture development, risk assessments, IA metrics.
• Ability to optimize system operation and perform capacity planning.
• Ability to break down complex problems, formulate strategies, and track progress to baselines.
• Linux/Unix/Windows administration, OS installation, troubleshooting, and network configuration.
• VMware or similar hypervisor management.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities.
• Create BOMs, network designs/diagrams, and installation documentation.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and server teams to propose new or modified solutions.
• Assess capacity, power, space, cooling, and funding needs to meet goals.
