Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Records Management Systems Administrator (SA) to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a systems administrator on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Records Management Systems Administrator, you will provide system administration solutions to meet required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
• Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.
• Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development and design, Risk Assessments and IA Metrics gathering.
• Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating systems software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity of and configuring network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Managing virtual servers through VMWare and similar hypervisor products.
• Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities and you will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other documentation for new and updated installations.
• You will also work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.
