Job summary

Power3 Solutions in Fort Meade, MD seeks a System Administrator (Records Management) to provide system administration solutions, create bills of materials, network designs, and documentation for new and updated installations. You will work with network, storage, and server personnel to meet capacity and user requirements, and determine power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and five years’ SA experience; five years can substitute for a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher compliance required.
• Experience with modern operating systems and network architectures.
• Experience in certification/accreditation, architecture development, risk assessments, IA metrics.
• Ability to analyze capacity and plan resources; optimize system operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions and create BOMs, network designs and installation documentation.
• Collaborate with network, storage and server personnel to propose new/modified solutions.
• Assess capacity requirements, respond to system requests, and plan power, space, cooling and funding.
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows; work with VMware and related hypervisors.
