Job summary

United Water Restoration Group is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to lead our restoration projects after fire, water, or mold damage, handling commercial and residential properties. You will guide evaluation, estimation, budgeting and scheduling, while ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

The role requires Xactimate proficiency, strong communication, organization and problem-solving, as well as the ability to manage subcontractors and resources.

Qualifications

• Project management of commercial and/or residential properties impacted by water, fire, and mold.
• Xactimate experience.
• Symbolist experience preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel skills and proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily tasks of reconstruction projects working with District and Operations Managers to ensure quality performance, customer service and profitability.
• Manage evaluation, estimation, selling, budgeting, timeline establishment of projects and walk property owners through expectations.
• Monitor job progress to ensure timely and on‑budget completion.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing workloads, subcontractor performance and property owner communication; manage personnel and company resources to ensure on‑time and on‑budget performance.
• Build and manage subcontractor relationships to complete work in an orderly and efficient manner.
• Read, understand and modify Xactimate estimates and traditional reconstruction estimates for projects scoped across a variety of trade areas.
• Provide performance metrics by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing subcontractor performance records, labor hours, material cost, customer satisfaction scores, and meeting program guidelines.
• Assess project and customer service needs, adjust by assigning resources; set work result standards; establish priorities; monitor progress; revise schedules; resolve problems; report results of the process flow on performance production summaries.
• Resolve personnel and performance problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
• Other duties as required.
