Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a technically minded developer to own and evolve data pipelines powering real-time visualization experiences across multiple platforms. You will build tools and automation, improve pipeline reliability, and enable efficient delivery of immersive experiences in collaboration with Modeling, Design, Engineering and CMF teams.

The role emphasizes software development and automation, with opportunities to work on AI-assisted workflows and spatial computing interfaces.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and visual scripting experience with Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Experience maintaining and extending automated data pipelines (CAD/visualization workflows).
• Advanced Unreal Engine knowledge: Blueprint development, UI, data management, optimization.
• Experience developing custom tools and automation for technical or creative teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and applying AI to improve workflows.
• Experience designing UI and interaction for real-time applications.
• Experience with spatial computing platforms (e.g., Apple Vision Pro) is a plus.
• Knowledge of shader development and real-time rendering principles.
• Strong problem-solving, organized, proactive and collaborative working style.
• Experience in automotive/transportation design environments is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and evolve the data pipeline for real-time visualization environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues from software/OS/workflow changes.
• Develop new tools, scripts, and automation for data preparation and deployment.
• Improve usability and efficiency of internal visualization tools through UI/workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with Studio Modeling, Design, Engineering and CMF teams for automation opportunities.
• Support integration of AI-assisted development workflows, AR/VR, and real-time platforms.
• Contribute to immersive user experiences and interaction design for AR/spatial computing.
