Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the data-platform team powering autonomous vehicle development. You will guide a team of software engineers, set technical direction, and own delivery of high-scale data pipelines for camera, LiDAR, and telemetry data.

You will partner with ADAS, ML, and data engineering to translate needs into a clear roadmap and drive CI/CD, infra automation, and production excellence across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years leading teams.
• Strong Python backend and large-scale data platform experience.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform/OpenTofu, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Own the roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of data ingestion, processing, storage, and serving platforms.
• Support the architecture for Python and AWS-based backend services, APIs, and data tooling; review designs and drive best practices.
• Own the reliability, observability, performance, and cost of production services.
• Plan resourcing and run planning; report status and progress to senior leadership.
