Job summary

The successful candidate will review components, participate in a full software lifecycle, and collaborate using Agile practices and Atlassian tools. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 10 years of software experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with TypeScript, C++ or Python
• Experience with container technologies
• Experience with CI/CD Pipeline
• Experience with SAST Tool Remediation
• Proficiency in real-time processing including threads, scheduling, synchronization, and memory management
• Experience in Agile Development with Atlassian tools
• Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence
• Experience with safety critical and nuclear critical software development (DO-178C, AFMAN 91-119, DO-330, etc.)
• Familiarity with structured process-driven software development environment including peer reviews, revision control, defect tracking, and release practices
• Experience with development drivers and middleware (RTOS, Linux and/or VxWorks) and anti-tampering (cryptographic, secure comms, logging, SW deployment) preferred
• Experience with Git products
• Experience with automated testing techniques including unit and integration testing
• Experience with test framework/application and system verification
• Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance and be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems (analytics, algorithms, large data sets, real-time systems)
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results
• Resolve software problem reports and participate in the full software lifecycle
• Provide input on system design tradeoffs and reuse of software components
• Ensure compliance with security and certification requirements
