Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 15 years of experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, C++ or Python.
• Proficiency in real-time processing including threads, scheduling, synchronization, and memory management.
• Experience with container technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with SAST remediation.
• Experience with Agile development with Atlassian tools.
• Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
• Experience with safety critical and nuclear critical software development (DO-178C, AFMAN 91-119, DO-330).
• Familiarity with a structured process driven software development environment including peer reviews, revision control, defect tracking and release practices.
• Experience with RTOS/Linux/VxWorks and anti-tampering (cryptographic, secure comms, logging, deployment) is preferred.
• Experience with Git products.
• Experience with automated testing techniques including unit and integration testing.
• Experience with test framework/application and system verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for design adherence and document results.
• Resolve software problem reports and optimize performance.
• Provide input on system design, hardware/software tradeoffs, and reuse of COTS where appropriate.
