Job summary

Entarian in Suitland, MD seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to maintain and enhance ground-system software for NOAA satellite missions. You will blend software engineering with systems analysis, bug fixes, and cybersecurity remediation to ensure reliable operation of commands, data handling, and server coordination across sites.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in IT/CS, strong Java/Python/C/C++, CI/CD with Git; US citizenship or permanent residency for security access;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of experience delivering bug fixes, enhancements and cybersecurity remediation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience across software development life cycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C, and C++.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows; Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with Agile methodology and security-conscious engineering.
