Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Low Latency Computing (Starlink), to design and deliver real-time software for beam formation in the Starlink network.

You will work across hardware-in-the-loop tests, virtual environments, and on-orbit simulations to ensure the fastest, most reliable satellite internet experience. You will lead architecture reviews, develop prototypes, and build tools for development and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or STEM and 5+ years of software development.
• Experience with C/C++ and assembly is a plus.
• Experience with real-time, low-latency, distributed systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, real-time software that determines beam formation for low-latency, satellite-based network.
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts.
• Develop tools for software development, deployment, data analysis and test execution across environments.
