Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer focused on High Performance Computing for Starlink. You will develop real-time software to determine beam formation for a low-latency, satellite-based network and participate in architecture reviews, prototyping, and cross-environment testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
• Development experience in assembly, C, or C++.
• Experience in real-time rendering, game engine development, physics simulation, or other real-time, resource-constrained HPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, real-time software for beam formation in Starlink network.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop prototypes and run experiments to prove key concepts.
• Build tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, and testing across environments.
