MeeBoss is seeking a robotics perception engineer to own the perception pipeline from detection and tracking to sensor fusion, deploying models to embedded systems and collaborating with planning and control teams.

You will work with camera, LiDAR, and IMU data, building robust, real-time perception pipelines and contributing to environment modeling, pose estimation, and calibration tasks across real robotic platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in AV, ADAS, or general robotics perception.
• Experience shipping real-time camera and LiDAR sensor fusion for dynamic, human-in-the-scene environments.
• Production deployment experience using TensorRT or ONNX to embedded inference systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Confident use of ROS 2 in production robotics work.
• Experience applying deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow for object detection and segmentation.
• Experience applying sensor fusion techniques across real robotic platforms.
• Knowledge of camera, LiDAR, and IMU calibration, time synchronization, and rigid body dynamics.
• Familiarity with multi-object tracking, bird eye view perception, occupancy networks, or semantic segmentation.

Responsabilités

• Develop models and algorithms to detect, classify, and track objects using camera, LiDAR, and sonar data.
• Build environment models of static scenes and fuse camera and LiDAR data into robust, real-time perception pipelines.
• Develop and integrate pose estimation models for people, wheelchairs, and other relevant objects.
• Implement sensor calibration, time synchronization, and coordinate frame transformations.
• Evaluate perception performance using real-world data, simulation, and offline benchmarks.
• Collaborate with planning, control, localization, and systems teams to successfully integrate perception outputs.
• Track advances in AI, sensor fusion, and robotics to continuously improve perception capabilities.
