Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for the Starlink Mobile program in a role focused on end-to-end software lifecycle—from development to testing and support. You will contribute to a global satellite network enabling seamless connectivity for LTE devices, participating in rapid design decisions and proof-of-concept experiments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Development experience in Python, C, or C++

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, real-time software that plans and executes network topology for the global satellite network to connect mobile phones
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews
• Develop tools for software development and deployment, data analysis and visualization, and test execution across multiple environments including virtualized hardware, real hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit testing
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts
