Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to lead development and analysis of real-time simulations for AIAMD systems. The role requires C++, FORTRAN, Python, and MATLAB, with travel to labs and test ranges as needed.

The successful candidate will mentor a small team and coordinate resources while ensuring high-quality software for government programs. U.S. Citizenship and an active secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years of progressively complex software design engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and building simulations.
• Active secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, execute, and analyze real-time M&S products for Army AIAMD.
• Lead a small team to plan resources and schedules.
• Design and implement real-time simulations in C++ and FORTRAN.
• Develop pre/post-processing tools in MATLAB/python.
• Support integration and debugging across labs and test ranges.
