Torch Technologies is seeking a Junior-Level Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to join the IAMDSIM team in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on real-time and digital simulation models, integration of tools, and post-processing libraries.

A Secret clearance is required, with emphasis on C++, Java, and Python development. The candidate will work on a distributed simulation environment, including pre-processing scripts and model integration, with opportunities for growth in defense-focused

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2 years applicable software design engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience using version control systems (Git, Gitlab).
• Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented principles (OOP) and design patterns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and as an individual.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software simulation models in C++, Java.
• Integrate third-party simulation models into a common simulation environment.
• Development of various pre and post processing tools to better work with and analyze the data.
• Support analysis post processing library development in Python.
