Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a skilled software engineer to bridge vehicle simulations with flight hardware. You will create a real-time emulation environment, develop drivers, and validate accuracy against flight hardware, enabling early testing and robust verification of TeraWave products.

Requirements include a BS in CS/EE, 5+ years in embedded software or hardware emulation, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. U.S. work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• 5+ years in software for embedded systems, simulation, or hardware emulation.
• Proficient in C/C++ development.
• Python for test automation and data analysis.
• RTOS and embedded control systems knowledge, APIs and drivers.
• Familiar with Ethernet, Spacewire, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the software framework for high-fidelity real-time hardware emulation.
• Develop, test, and maintain software drivers for emulation hardware interfaces.
• Integrate vehicle component simulations with the hardware emulation platform.
• Develop and execute test plans, automation scripts, and procedures to validate the emulation.
• Debug complex issues at the software–hardware interface and resolve discrepancies.
