Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of generation dispatch or PJM market operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of power generation principles and real‑time system balancing.
• Proficiency with SCADA, EMS, and dispatch software platforms.
• PJM dispatch protocols and LMP pricing familiarity; NERC standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and dispatch real‑time generation assets to meet system demand and market commitments.
• Follow PJM dispatch instructions and market schedules.
• Respond to system events with appropriate corrective actions per guidelines.
• Maintain logs of dispatch activities and asset performance for compliance.
• Coordinate with PJM operators, plant staff, and transmission providers to ensure reliable operation.
• Support post‑event analysis and continuous improvement.
