Job summary

Insitu – a Boeing Company is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to design and analyze enhancements for Group 2/3 unmanned aircraft and derivatives. You will develop and refine flight control, guidance, and navigation algorithms supporting autonomous flight, while maintaining high‑fidelity models and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace/mechanical eng with aerodynamics, flight dynamics and control emphasis.
• Strong background in controls, navigation and guidance for air vehicles.
• Experience with standalone, SIL, and HIL simulations and model validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze enhancements for UAS Group 2/3 and derivatives.
• Develop flight control, guidance and navigation algorithms including autonomous flight.
• Build and maintain high-fidelity models and simulations (SIL/HIL).
• Collaborate with autopilot supplier and test teams to improve performance.
