Job summary

Insitu – a Boeing Company is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to design and analyze enhancements for Group 2/3 unmanned aircraft and derivatives. You will develop and refine flight control, guidance, and navigation algorithms supporting autonomous flight, while maintaining high‑fidelity models and simulation tools.

Qualifications

Degree in aerospace/mechanical eng with aerodynamics, flight dynamics and control emphasis.
Strong background in controls, navigation and guidance for air vehicles.
Experience with standalone, SIL, and HIL simulations and model validation.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze enhancements for UAS Group 2/3 and derivatives.
Develop flight control, guidance and navigation algorithms including autonomous flight.
Build and maintain high-fidelity models and simulations (SIL/HIL).
Collaborate with autopilot supplier and test teams to improve performance.
