Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for next‑gen connected devices, industrial automation systems, and IoT products. You will work on high‑performance real‑time embedded software interacting with hardware, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers, systems architects, and QA teams to build embedded solutions deployed across enterprise

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and Modern C++ for firmware development.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS platforms (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, Embedded Linux, VxWorks).
• Experience developing device drivers and low-level hardware interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, MQTT, BLE, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and firmware builds.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
• Develop low-level device drivers, BSPs, bootloaders, and HAL.
• Build real-time applications on RTOS platforms (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, Embedded Linux).
• Develop firmware for interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, MQTT).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during bring-up and validation.
• Optimize for CPU, memory, power, and boot time.
• Implement secure firmware update mechanisms and secure boot.
