Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for connected devices and industrial systems. This role focuses on high-performance, real-time embedded software that interfaces directly with hardware, delivering secure and reliable solutions.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers, systems architects, and product managers across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Expert in Embedded C and Modern C++ for firmware.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M/A, STM32, NXP, Renesas, TI, or Microchip MCUs.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems architecture, memory management, interrupts, DMA, timers.
• Experience with device drivers and low-level hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with debugging tools including JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated firmware builds.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices for embedded systems.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware for microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems.
• Develop low-level device drivers, BSPs, bootloaders, and HALs.
• Build real-time applications using RTOS platforms like FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or Embedded Linux.
• Develop firmware for interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, MQTT.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during board bring-up and validation.
• Optimize embedded applications for CPU usage, memory, and power.
• Implement secure firmware update mechanisms and secure boot.
• Write unit and integration tests and automation scripts.
• Support production deployments and field diagnostics.
