Based in Livermore, CA, the role requires in-office presence four days per week and close collaboration with Parker sites worldwide, delivering production-quality embedded software and integrating with CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 4–6 years of related embedded software experience.
• Proficient in embedded C/C++ for real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Write production-quality real-time embedded C/C++ for bare-metal/RTOS targets.
• Partner with hardware engineers to implement control algorithms within constraints.
• Debug HW/SW interactions from prototypes to customer returns.
• Participate in design reviews of software, schematics and code.
• Design and run tests to verify software against requirements.
• Capture requirements and maintain traceability through design, code and tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Python-based test automation.
• Deliver milestones in a timely manner under Parker's WINovation strategy.
