Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop and verify embedded software for aerospace and industrial applications. The role requires experience with DO-178/ISO 26262 and a strong foundation in software development lifecycles.

You will work with cross-functional teams and contribute to certification efforts, requirements management and test case creation to ensure compliance and high-quality deliverables for Parker Hannifin’s Fluid Systems Division.

Qualifications

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, verification and/or integration.
• Familiarity with industry standards and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C and/or model-based tools (e.g., SCADE).
• Create high- and low-level software requirements.
• Perform software integration testing on target hardware with real and simulated inputs/outputs.
• Analyze requirements, design, and code for compliance with standards.
• Participate in software certification audits and traceability activities.
