Job summary

Bank of America is hiring a Senior Data Streaming Engineer to design and deliver a modern real-time data platform supporting ITSM and infrastructure domains. You will build scalable low-latency pipelines using event-driven architectures and modern lakehouse data models.

The role focuses on moving from legacy batch systems to streaming-first processing, with hands-on work in Flink, Kafka, and Iceberg, and collaboration across architecture, platform, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with a strong data engineering focus.
• 5+ years in data warehousing, data lakes, or MDM systems.
• Experience building real-time data platforms and streaming architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of real-time data pipelines.
• Code complex solutions for data integration, transformation, and quality controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to implement data requirements.
• Mentor Data Engineers and drive CI/CD for streaming pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and performance across streaming and batch systems.
