Job summary

Pindrop is a cybersecurity company delivering continuous identity verification across voice, video, and digital interactions. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Capture team, you will design, build, and operate the distributed services that form Pindrop's real-time ingestion layer, handling audio, video, and telephony metadata across provider platforms.

You will focus on low-latency pipelines, provider integrations (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Google Meet, Amazon Connect, Genesys), and production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building and operating distributed backend services in production.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or a comparable language with Linux/Unix, networking, concurrency, and performance tuning fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices (Terraform/CDK, CI/CD pipelines).
• Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex issues in distributed systems, including on-call production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate distributed Go microservices and media pipelines for low-latency processing and high availability.
• Build and evolve integrations across communication technologies and protocols (SIPREC, RTP, WebRTC, WebSockets).
• Lead projects from architecture and design through implementation, testing, and production support.
• Diagnose complex distributed systems issues using logs, metrics, traces, and tests to improve reliability and security.
• Provide technical guidance through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
