Pindrop is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Capture team to design, build, and operate distributed real-time ingestion services for audio, video, and telephony data. You will deliver low-latency pipelines and integrate across major conferencing platforms, with a focus on reliability and performance.

This role involves leadership in architecture, collaboration with Product and SRE, and a strong on-call production support culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building and operating distributed backend services in production.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or a comparable language with Linux/Unix, networking, concurrency, and performance tuning fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices (Terraform/CDK, CI/CD pipelines).
• Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex issues in distributed systems, including on-call production support.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate distributed Go microservices and media pipelines for low-latency processing.
• Build and evolve integrations across communication technologies and protocols (SIPREC, RTP, WebRTC, etc.).
• Lead projects from architecture through deployment and production support.
• Diagnose complex distributed systems issues using logs, metrics, traces, and tests to improve reliability and security.
• Provide technical guidance through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
