You will own the auction engine and the high-concurrency bidding and listing systems behind nine-figure GMV, while shaping the front-end experience that shows bids in real time. You will drive innovations like instant valuations, AI-enhanced listings, and scalable backend services, collaborating with a fast-moving team in a remote-first environment.

• 5+ years building and scaling complex applications.
• Expertise with Python, Postgres, AWS.
• Modern frontend mastery with React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Own auction engine and high-concurrency bidding systems that power nine-figure GMV.
• Develop AI-powered liquidity features for instant valuations and upfront liquidity.
• Build personalized discovery to match one-of-one collectibles to buyers.
• Create power-seller tooling and analytics for top sellers.
• Own backend bid resolution and the UI surfaces that display real-time action.
• Mentor the team and set standards for code quality, reliability, and performance.
