You’ll own the core auction engine, AI-powered liquidity features, and the end-to-end experience from bid to UI render.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and scaling complex applications.
• Modern frontend mastery. Deep experience with React, TypeScript, and real-time UIs.
• Reliability under pressure; systems stay up during peak traffic.
• AI pragmatism; turning models into practical features that solve business problems.
• Product instincts; understand the collector mindset and explain past work.

Responsibilities

• The auction engine: build and scale high-concurrency bidding/listing systems powering nine-figure GMV.
• AI-powered liquidity: develop features giving consignors instant valuations and upfront liquidity.
• Personalized discovery: use data/ML to match one-of-one items to buyers.
• Power-seller tooling: design tools for high-frequency sellers.
• The whole experience: backend bid resolution through the real-time UI; own schema changes.
• The bar: mentor the team and set code quality standards.
