Job summary

RTD - Regional Transportation District of Denver is seeking a Real Property Manager to lead the Real Property team and drive property acquisition, disposition, and budgeting for major capital projects.

You will oversee right-of-way management, environmental reviews, and related legal documents, coordinating with public agencies and private entities to ensure grant eligibility and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or Business required.
• Five (5) years of progressive experience in public real estate, property acquisition, right-of-way management, or transit development.
• Experience with federal property acquisition regulations and relocation procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead RTD’s Real Property team and oversee property acquisition/disposition and related budgets.
• Manage right-of-way planning, environmental review, and real estate transactions.
• Draft and maintain legal documents for land acquisition, leases, licenses, and joint developments.
• Coordinate with public agencies and private entities to obtain approvals and permits.
