Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end.

You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. Every day is a new challenge, and you're continually looking for ways to help our team become more efficient and effective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with US GAAP in a public accounting or multinational company setting.
• Preferred CPA or CA certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to operationalize key transactions and initiatives.
• Lead month-end close activities to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Oversee CIP reviews to identify impairment risks across real estate assets.
• Own CapEx SOX processes and property purchase accounting.
• Drive process improvements and automation using large data sets and data visualization.
