Job summary

Google accountants are a savvy team handling core accounting responsibilities end to end, including government-regulated reports and month-end close analyses. You will review, interpret, and communicate financial data to support strategic decisions while maintaining a high attention to detail.

You will lead E2E accounting for CapEx, PP&E, and related reporting, collaborating with global teams to drive efficiency and accuracy across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• CPA or CA certification.
• 4 years of experience in accounting or related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
• Experience with US GAAP in a public accounting or multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global tracking and accounting for data center construction projects using SAP Project Systems subledger.
• Execute month-end close activities and present findings to finance leadership and auditors.
• Maintain SOX internal controls and escalate issues promptly.
• Partner with operations, tax, product, legal, and IT to implement new accounting flows.
• Drive continuous improvement in A2R operations to elevate reporting and reconciliation quality.
