Job summary

Google is hiring accountants who will manage core accounting responsibilities and provide insights across financial reports. You will advise on government-required reports, review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary information, and collaborate with a global team to drive efficiency and accuracy in our financial processes.

You will lead end-to-end accounting processes, reconcile balance sheets and P&L, and supply supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Experience with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for technical infrastructure reporting, tracking machine deployments, depreciation, useful life, and fleet utilization.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly variance commentary, partnering with FP&A and operational teams to evaluate business drivers and performance trends.
• Design and run scenario models to support long-range planning, capital allocation, and executive-level decision-making.
• Oversee the suite of advanced modeling tools, managing feature roadmaps and bug fixes to ensure end-to-end data completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with FinEng and FP&A to align modeling assumptions, integrate data pipelines, and develop scalable, automated reporting solutions.
