Job summary

Lendmarq is seeking a senior Valuation specialist to build out the valuations function for business-purpose lending. You will assess market value, perform appraisal reviews, analyze trends, and prepare valuation reports to support lending decisions.

Strong knowledge of USPAP, local regulations, and valuation software is required. Excellent communication and report-writing skills are essential, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, business or related field.
• Certification/licensing as Appraiser (MAI, SRA) preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in real estate valuation or property appraisal.
• Proficiency with valuation software and strong report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market data research and analyze property characteristics to determine value.
• Assess condition, location, and unique features of properties.
• Apply appraisal methods to determine fair market value considering market trends.
• Provide professional judgments to ensure accurate valuations and mitigate risk.
• Prepare valuation reports with detailed descriptions and supporting data.
