Job summary

Lendmarq Capital LLC in Florida seeks a seasoned valuations professional to build out processes for the Valuations department. You will assess market value of residential properties for business-purpose lending, perform appraisal reviews, analyze market trends, and prepare valuation reports to support lending decisions.

You will ensure compliance with USPAP and regulations, apply professional judgement, communicate findings, and stay current with market conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in real estate valuation or related field.
• Certified Appraiser or Valuer preferred (MAI, SRA, or state license).
• Proficiency with Argus, CoStar, MLS, and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market data analysis and evaluate property characteristics.
• Assess condition, location, and unique features of properties.
• Apply appraisal methods to determine fair market value.
• Challenge appraisals to reduce risk.
• Prepare valuation reports with descriptions and comparables.
• Explain appraisal processes and findings clearly.
• Communicate with stakeholders to deliver assignments on time.
• Stay current on market trends, valuation techniques, regulatory changes.
• Manage workload and prioritize deadlines.
• Ensure valuations comply with USPAP and local regulations.
