Carlton Fields is seeking a Paralegal for its Miami office with a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate transactional and financing experience in a law firm.

The candidate should be proactive, flexible, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and experience with electronic document management systems (Filesite a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate transactional and financing paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• Proactive, flexible, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; experience with electronic document management systems; Filesite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Experience with title insurance matters and examination of title and survey; prepare title commitments and policies; coordinate with title companies to resolve issues.
• Perform due diligence reviews of documents.
• Handle commercial closings and prepare related documents (UCC financing statements, closing letters, closing documents).
• Draft and prepare deeds, mortgages, financing statements and other real estate documents.
• Maintain electronic recordings and official records searches; assist with entity formations.
