Job summary
New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a Senior Associate to support underwriting, structuring, and executing real estate and economic development transactions on city-owned land. You will manage projects across their life cycle, from feasibility through closing, with guidance from senior staff and opportunities to influence strategy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Graduate degree preferred in real estate development, public policy, urban planning, business, finance or law.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced knowledge of real estate finance and deal structuring to support decision-making and project execution.
- Build and interpret complex financial models in Excel, including discounted cash flow and residual land value analyses.
- Draft, interpret, and support negotiations for transaction-related legal documents (MOUs, Ground Leases, Purchase and Sale Agreements).
- Lead activities for competitive site dispositions, including drafting RFPs and overseeing site tours.
