New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a Senior Associate in its Real Estate Transaction Services Group. The role focuses on project management and financial analysis for city-owned real estate and economic development transactions, from feasibility to closing, under senior staff guidance.

Responsibilities include building complex financial models, drafting and negotiating key legal documents, and leading site disposition activities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in real estate development, finance, urban planning, public policy or related City/State agency.
• Experience managing projects from feasibility to completion and negotiating agreements.

Aufgaben

• Apply advanced knowledge of real estate finance and deal structuring to support decision-making and project execution.
• Build and interpret complex financial models in Excel, including discounted cash flow and residual land value analyses.
• Draft, interpret, and support negotiations for MOUs, Ground Leases, Purchase and Sale Agreements.
• Lead competitive site dispositions, including drafting RFPs, overseeing site tours, info sessions, and Q&As.
• Anticipate milestones and recommend strategies to advance deal execution.
• Navigate NYCEDC processes to drive progress at each stage.
• Present findings and recommendations to project teams and senior NYCEDC officials.
• Create and deliver presentations for elected officials and community stakeholders.
