Job summary

The City of Atlanta seeks a Real Estate Project Manager III to lead planning, acquisition, disposition and management of General Fund real estate assets. You’ll drive strategies, manage leasing and asset performance, and ensure compliance with city policies and laws.

Reporting to the Real Estate Division leadership within the Department of Enterprise Assets Management, you will coordinate with officials, landlords, and the public to optimize ROI on city properties and help advance redevelopment

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and a strong track record in real estate management.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing within municipal real estate is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes real estate strategies; monitors implementation and guides project teams to meet objectives.
• Leads property management for the City; analyzes portfolio, manages acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
• Ensures compliance with laws and regulations governing property management, acquisitions and dispositions.
• Maximizes return on investment through property analysis and timely sale of surplus properties.
• Develops periodic asset management and inventory reports for senior leadership.
• Maintains relationships with city officials, departments, community, landlords, tenants, and public stakeholders.
